US vs Brazil in the Confed Cup Final!
Saturday, 27 June 2009 09:10
The US just played better than any of us considered them capable of in beating Spain 2-0. It was a glorious world-class effort - I'm sure we can all agree on that. How about the substitution with Davies coming off, and Dempsey moving up?? Gotta give Bradley props on that! And now, just days after the minor miracle, we have the luxury of seeing whether this team has truly turned the corner, found its soul, and become a force to be reckoned with - a can't miss rematch against Brazil in the Confed Cup Final (1:25pm, Sun 6/28 - live at Amsterdam)!

2 players - 225,000,000?!
Thursday, 11 June 2009 00:00
Real Madrid is out to buy trophies and rule Europe. And sure, they'll sell 100 zillion jerseys (did you get yours?). But at this point, do you think super teams are out of control with astronomical transfer fees and what is going to happen with smaller clubs??

Three years since WC 2006, is the US better?
Monday, 08 June 2009 20:13
We're about 1 year away from WC 2010. Has the US really progressed since losing to Ghana and only scoring 2 goals in their 3 games in 2006? Do you feel that Bob Bradley is fit for National Team coaching? If not, do you feel axing at this point is an option?
