The US just played better than any of us considered them capable of in beating Spain 2-0. It was a glorious world-class effort - I'm sure we can all agree on that. How about the substitution with Davies coming off, and Dempsey moving up?? Gotta give Bradley props on that! And now, just days after the minor miracle, we have the luxury of seeing whether this team has truly turned the corner, found its soul, and become a force to be reckoned with - a can't miss rematch against Brazil in the Confed Cup Final (1:25pm, Sun 6/28 - live at Amsterdam)!

Confed Cup musings: - Respect gained worldwide AND with the US media - The bar has been raised as to quality of play - this must be replicated in EVERY GAME from here on out - Expectations have been raised - this means the fans will demand higher quality and will put positive pressure on US Soccer @ ALL levels to produce a consistent, quality product on the field from here on out. Anything less and change will be required @ ALL levels (players, coaches, admins, etc) - And finally; regardless of which club you support ALWAYS SUPPORT YOUR COUNTRY.
